Asher's Birth
It's been a while since I've blogged. Pregnancy got a little hard at the end there. But on Sunday evening, July 31st, Spencer and I headed to the hospital. I delivered Asher Scott Evensen at 3:16 PM on August 1st. He weighed 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 20 inches long. This has nothing to do with my regular fashion posts, but it's one of the most important days of my life so I am throwing it on here anyways. Amy Elise Allen Photography did an amazing job capturing the emotion felt this day. I am so glad I can look back on these pictures and relive the love that I felt for my husband and brand new baby boy at that moment. 20 hours at the hospital, no sleep, hard contractions, throwing up, a hemorrhoid, an episiotomy and a cervical tear are small prices to pay for the amazing gift we were given. Words cannot begin to describe how much I love my little family.
